Under the patronage of the College of Veterinary Medicine and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Tikrit, a scientific workshop titled “Pregnancy Diagnosis in Farm Animals” was held, delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawaf Noreddin Dhahir and Asst. Lecturer Manar Sabah Issa from the Department of Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics.
The theoretical component of the workshop covered the most important methods used in diagnosing pregnancy in farm animals, with a focus on clinical and laboratory examinations, as well as modern techniques applied in early pregnancy detection and their role in improving animal productivity.
This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific activities organized by the college to develop the practical skills of students and researchers, and to enhance their diagnostic capabilities in a manner aligned with the demands of field and clinical veterinary work.
