The College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University and in line with the guidance of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Student Guide at the College of Veterinary Medicine,” held at Dr. Muhannad Maher Hall.
The seminar was delivered by Professor Dr. Wasan Sarhan Ubaid and student Mustafa Mohammed Mustafa, representative of the second-year class. It addressed several key topics, most notably students’ rights and responsibilities within the College, as well as the role of the class representative in conveying students’ needs and maintaining communication with the administration.
The seminar also discussed the concept of social relationship management within the university environment and the importance of building a positive atmosphere based on respect and cooperation. In addition, it clarified the roles of educational guidance representatives and their contribution to supporting and guiding students academically and psychologically.
The seminar was attended by first-year educational guidance representatives and a number of students, who actively engaged with its topics due to their importance in enhancing student awareness and fostering a well-balanced university personality.
