The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Tikrit University organized a tree-planting campaign as part of the University’s Sustainability Week activities.
The campaign saw the participation of several staff members alongside a group of students, during which seedlings and flowers were planted in the College’s gardens, contributing to the improvement of the campus environment and enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
The campaign also included the display of awareness posters and brochures addressing key sustainability concepts, the importance of environmental conservation, and the role of individuals and institutions in promoting sound environmental practices.
This initiative reflects the College’s ongoing efforts to instill a culture of sustainability and raise environmental awareness among students, fostering a sense of responsibility toward the environment and contributing to the development of a more conscious and sustainable university community.
